Haunted Nevada
Stories of ghosts and strange occurrences can be found centred on just about any type of building or location. In Nevada you will find haunted inns, roads, theatres, restaurants, tourist attractions and even a Las Vegas pharmacy used by Elvis where it is said Elvis ahs appeared. In fact Elvis is sited quite a bit around Vegas including the Elvis suite at the Hilton and he has been seen walking around the Flamingo Hotel and Casino.

You won't have to travel to far from the strip to find a great story. It is said that a former lighting employee of the Union Plaza Hotel and Casino that committed suicide haunts the backstage area and the showgirl's dressing rooms. It is also said the he tampers with the lighting during a show.

At the Las Vegas, Nevada Aqua Air Systems offices the spirit of former TV star Redd Foxx is said to open doors, blinds and turn the lights on and off. It is felt that his spirit may be relentless as this building was originally his home, which in his old age had been forced to sell.

Outside of Las Vegas there are numerous locations to explore. Even at the famous Hoover Dam you will find a spooky tale. There is said to be two spirits that wander through the dam. One is an original worker that helped to build the original structure. He is said loosen various nuts and walk amongst the generators. The second resident is thought to be a fellow by the name of Bill who died in 1983 while working at the dam. He appears walking around the facility as if he was carrying out his everyday duties.

Much further away close to Lake Tahoe is Virginia City and possible one of best-known haunted locations in Nevada. In Virginia City you will find the Mackay Mansion, a spooky cemetery and only one mile away you will find the Gold Hill Hotel. The Gold Hill Hotel is said to be the oldest in Nevada.
