The Sahara hotel offers great prices on the Las Vegas strip and has one of the liveliest casinos in the city. Rooms at the Sahara are spacious and clean, and the hotel is small enough that you can easily navigate it, unlike some of the newer "super-resorts". The Sahara is located at the end of the strip, but between the $5 all-day bus pass and the tram which is about to open, you can easily get to all of the city's hot spots. There is an advantage to being out of the way. This area of the city is much quieter. Even the pool area of the Sahara is noticeably more relaxing than those of many of its neighbors.

Entertainment at the Sahara includes headliners, magnificent stage shows and the Casbar theater lounge where there is never a cover charge. Be sure to check out Speed, a state of the art roller coaster that is sure to get your heart racing. Speaking of racing, enjoy lunch or dinner at the Nascar Cafe at the Sahara. That's just one of many great places to eat at the hotel. The House of Lords is an elegant steakhouse. The Caravan Café offers a variety of lighter foods and Paco's serves up delicacies from south of the border.
